Shake lightly before each use. Take 1 tsp (5 ml) by mouth and swallow. Always take with food or after a recent meal to prevent nausea from the zinc. Use as directed by your healthcare professional.

This method recommends using a supplement based on your need for it, by tuning in to how you feel each day. Start with a partial dose and increase slowly over time to the full dose only if needed. When you start to feel good, reduce or stop supplementation to prevent taking too much and feeling bad. Then take again when you feel you need it (stressful day, traveling, etc), hence “pulsing”.
