Add 7 drops of Lactase Drops per pint of milk, refrigerate for 24 hours, then use as desired. If lactose intolerance symptoms persist, refrigerate for 48 hours before using or add more drops. Alternatively, add 7 drops of Lactase Drops directly to milk or any dairy product just prior to drinking or eating, or use as directed by a health professional.
Lactase Drops may also be used in breastmilk or formula after it is mixed and given to lactose-intolerant infants. Do not cook or bake with the lactase drops because high temperatures will deactivate the enzymes. Always allow the lactase to convert the lactose in the dairy product first. Store unopened product in a cool, dry place (59-85ºF). Refrigerate after opening. Best used within 60 days after opening.
