The Pathway Planner Poster is for those seeking to have a physical print-out of important enzymatic pathways in the body, how they are connected and how they are affected by diet, lifestyle, environment. In most cases, this will be most useful for in supporting your optimal health, or for health professionals who are trying to the root of their patient's disease condition. It does NOT have your unique genetic or health information, it is only a general educational tool.
We encourage you to hang it up in your office, or home, and have a bunch of fine tip dry erase markers nearby to write on it. You can circle areas of interest, make notes, or find your lab markers.
You can work with your health professional to develop protocols and targeted actions for your health. For example, by finding your lab markers on the poster, you can look and see why the lab markers are low, normal or high. Then you (or your doctor) can take action on the genes which contribute to the lab markers.
For example, if one has high homocysteine, you or your doctor can draw an up arrow next to homocysteine on the poster. Then you can look at each gene which impacts homocysteine - one by one - and in detail. You will then see what slows or speeds up the genes and what nutrients you need. Then plan what steps to take and act on them. In a month or so, retest your homocysteine and see if your or your health professional's targeted actions worked.
Health professionals enjoy using the Pathway Planner Poster in their clinic to help teach and guide their patient why their labs are what they are and then what to do about it.
