The amount of phosphotidylcholine in the Liposomal products is not standardized. It will vary from lot to lot. However, the total amount of the phospholipid complex is listed on the label, with the exception of Optimal Liposomal Curcumin. There is about 35 mg of phosphatidylcholine per 6 mL serving of Optimal Liposomal Curcumin.
The purpose of the phospholipid complex in the liposomals is only to create the liposomes for optimal absorption of the nutrient its attached to. For example, for the Optimal Liposomal Vitamin C, the vitamin C is the main functional nutrient, and the phospholipids are present to encase the vitamin C into microscopic liposomes, so that its becomes better absorbed by fat. Please note: For the Optimal PC products, the amount of phosphatidylcholine is standardized to 15% of the total phospholipid complex.
