There is no exact conversion between absorption rates of a lozenge vs. a capsule, as this depends both on the delivery method and on the consumer (enzyme activity, starting levels of the nutrient, and other factors). While the dose is higher in the capsules, the Lozenges offer a convenient way to administer a lower dose of L-tyrosine in an easily absorbed format. That said, the capsules can also be opened and a portion of the contents taken separately if a lower dose is desired. Taking the contents of the capsules separately may also help provide for absorption comparable to the Lozenges.
