Can my liposomal be exposed to very hot or cold temperatures?

We recommend that you do not heat or freeze your liposomal product. Unopened at room temperature, liposomal products retain potency for 12-18 months. To maximize the potency and purity of the product, we recommend that you refrigerate the product after opening, and use within 40 days.

High Temperature: Unopened, liposomals typically retain potency at temperatures up to 104 degrees F for up to 6 days.

For shipping in hot areas, you can add an icepack to your order or choose expedited shipping method to optimize the potency of the product during shipping or handling. However we do not require icepacks to be shipped with liposomals unless product will be exposed to very high temperatures (above 104 degree F). 

Cold Temperatures: We do not recommend that you expose your product to freezing temperatures (32 degrees F or lower) as this may destroy the liposomal devliery method.
